Supplies

Every line arrives with the document the committee asks for.

Cement, ready-mixed concrete and aggregates

Bulk materials where logistics matter more than unit price. The money here is made with a delivery programme, not with a discount per tonne.

What we supply

If your item is not on the list, send it anyway — the list is a guide, not a limit.

What is in this group?

Cement
CEM I, CEM II and CEM III, in bulk and bagged
Ready-mixed concrete
by strength class and exposure class
Aggregates
graded fractions to project, sand, filler
Dry mixes
screeds, masonry and rendering mortars, adhesives
Concrete admixtures
plasticisers, retarders, accelerators
Waterproofing mortars
cementitious and polymer-modified
Standards

The standard in the BoQ decides what can and cannot be delivered.

Which standards prove conformity?

We check which standard is written into the contract documents and confirm in writing that what we propose meets it. Where the written requirement does not exist on the market in that form, we say so before ordering, not after delivery.

BDS EN 197-1
Cement — composition, specifications and conformity criteria for common cements.
BDS EN 206
Concrete — specification, performance, production and conformity. Sets strength and exposure classes.
BDS EN 12620
Aggregates for concrete — grading and physical requirements.
BDS EN 998-1 / 998-2
Mortar for plastering and rendering, and masonry mortar.
Regulation (EU) 305/2011
The basis for the DoP on all of the above.
Documents

A missing document is declared missing.

Which documents does the acceptance committee receive?

  • A DoP for each product stating the declared class
  • Certificate of conformity of the factory production control
  • Test reports on concrete cube samples
  • Delivery notes with loading time for ready-mixed concrete

The documents arrive with the goods, organised line by line. We do not go looking for them once the committee asks.

Lead times

Indicative. A binding deadline is given only in a written quote.

Europe or Asia — which makes sense for this group?

Europe

Speed and documentation

Typical lead time
Usually from regional producers — days, not weeks. Here the conversation is about scheduling, not lead time.

Asia

Price and volume

When it makes sense
Not applicable. These materials are not imported from Asia and we would not propose it.
Getting started

What should you send to get a quote?

  • The classes from the BoQ and the design documents
  • Quantities and how they split across phases
  • Site access — heavy vehicles, concrete pump
  • Planned start of concreting works
Send the items and you will get a concrete answer within 48 hours. We charge the contractor nothing — our margin sits with the manufacturer. Send an enquiry
