Supplies

Every line arrives with the document the committee asks for.

Furniture and building fit-out

The group where importing from Asia makes the most sense — standardised items, large volume, a horizon of several months. And the group where the approved sample decides everything.

Standards

The standard in the BoQ decides what can and cannot be delivered.

Which standards prove conformity?

We check which standard is written into the contract documents and confirm in writing that what we propose meets it. Where the written requirement does not exist on the market in that form, we say so before ordering, not after delivery.

BDS EN 527

BDS EN 16139

Documents

A missing document is declared missing.

Which documents does the acceptance committee receive?

  • Strength and stability test reports from an accredited laboratory
  • Material certificates for boards, upholstery and metal
  • Ignitability declaration for upholstered items
  • Warranty terms and spare parts availability

The documents arrive with the goods, organised line by line. We do not go looking for them once the committee asks.

Lead times

Indicative. A binding deadline is given only in a written quote.

Europe or Asia — which makes sense for this group?

Europe

Speed and documentation

Typical lead time
4–8 weeks. Suits small quantities, tight deadlines, or where the design names a specific European manufacturer.

Asia

Price and volume

When it makes sense
10–14 weeks plus freight, at a materially better price for large uniform batches. We work only with an approved physical sample and pre-shipment inspection — with furniture, the gap between sample and production run is the most common problem.
Getting started

What should you send to get a quote?

  • The specification with dimensions and quantities
  • Colour and material requirements, if specified
  • Whether a sample is required before delivery
  • The handover date
Send the items and you will get a concrete answer within 48 hours. We charge the contractor nothing — our margin sits with the manufacturer. Send an enquiry
